The ‘Guide’ has been firmly established on solid foundations of personal experience and know-how. Both Directors of the company are spinal cord injured, and between them have amassed substantial knowledge and experience in developing innovative and market leading businesses, which have included Accessible Travel and Leisure and Good Access UK.

The Painting Doc Workshop website has been created by Dr. Kathleen Reardon, a Parkinson Disease patient and formerly a cancer patient.

The site has designed to share the benefits of painting that Kathleen has derived as a patient with so many others. Through analysis of her paintings and those of other artists, the site provides help and advise on techniques and methods used in oil painting.

Jerry Wild was diagnosed in 2006 at the age of 52 with advanced stage Parkinson’s disease, a condition he developed in his early thirties. Jerry, who is an Architect, Artist, Musician and a Tai Chi Instructor, has been practicing Tai Chi a form of martial art exercises for over 30 years. Parkinson's Exercises offers lessons & workshops in Tai Chi Tai as a form of exercise for the Parkinson's patient to improve balance and coordination.

Although Jerry is not advocating his exercises as a cure all, with his personal experience he can attest to the health benefits Tai Chi offers to the Parkinson's patient.

Inspired by the first-ever World Parkinson Congress in the US, held in February of 2006, PDCreativity.org is dedicated to helping improve the lives of people living with Parkinson's disease.  It is supported by the Parkinson's Disease Foundation (PDF) and is the cornerstone of a larger Quality of Life Initiative.

The PDCreativity Project aims to help improve the quality of life for people with Parkinson's (PWPs), by shedding light on the therapeutic value of creativity and encouraging them to pursue their own forms of artistic expression, whether it is music, dance and photography or jewelry making, and painting.
