REWRITE TOMORROW

Who can help?

There are many professionals within the multidisciplinary team who can help, such as a physiotherapist, speech and language therapist, occupational therapist, specialist nurse, continence advisor, dietician and social worker.  Each will be able to advise on specific difficulties encountered and will work with you to find solutions and strategies to make everyday life easier.

In some countries there are MSA organisations who can help and also support groups for both those with MSA and their carers.  Your doctor or specialist nurse may be able to provide you with contacts or you can ask at your local library or search using the internet.

Did you know?

For men, the first sign of MSA is often erectile dysfunction.  Both men and women tend to have bladder problems.  However such difficulties may sometimes be incorrectly attributed to the aging process or to prostrate disease in men.
